ICenter is a Spanish company (Valencia) founded in 1996 by an experienced team in software development. ICenter focuses its efforts on the development of stable, fast, and fluid applications, regardless of the volume of data and the number of users.
ICenter and its software ReservaEntradas have 17 years of experience in the ticketing market and more than 100 customers all over Spain.
“Before, we didn’t want to create an application for ReservaEntradas, because we thought it wouldn’t be easy. But then we discovered Kalipso,” explains César Carnicero, head of software development at ICenter.
ReservaEntradas is a multi-channel ticketing app for end-users to buy tickets for their customers in the entertainment industry, such as cinemas and theaters.
According to César, until now, the company’s customers sold tickets directly through ICenter’s website. After realizing that 80% of tickets were purchased via mobile, ICenter decided to create the app to improve the user experience as much as possible.
ReservaEntradas is approved by the Ministry of Culture’s Instituto de Cinematografía de las Artes Audiovisuales (ICAA) and L’Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (ICEC).
The application is available for Android and iOS. “We estimate that within two months we can have around 100,000 users”, says César Carnicero.
For César, the choice of using Kalipso to develop the ReservaEntradas mobile application is based on three fundamental aspects:
